OPTIC is an in-person, intercollegiate tournament for predicting the future. We give you a handful of questions on real-world events ranging from geopolitics to celebrity twitter patterns to financial asset prices. You give us your predictions, and the best forecasters get thousands of dollars in cash prizes and access to exclusive internships. More details on the format and scoring on our FAQ.

Registration is open for OPTIC Bay Area (April 6). Stay in the loop for announcements about tournaments in the spring 2024 season — we’ll be running a tournament in Boston, and tentatively also NYC and DC. (You can bet on where we’ll be running tournaments here!)
